The Heritage Gallery at Cargo Fleet is housed within the historic Cargo Fleet Office building on Middlesbrough Road, formerly owned by Cargo Fleet Iron Co. Ltd., British Steel Teesside and Langbaurgh Council.

Celebrating Teesside’s industrial heritage, the gallery will be exploring the history of ironworks, steelworks, ship-building and bridge-building in the Teesside area.

We will be showcasing material from a range of sources, but personal contributions are greatly welcomed and appreciated. So if you have any photographs, memorabilia or information about Teesside’s industries that you would like to share for display in the Heritage Gallery, then please get in touch, here.

The Heritage Gallery will be a key aspect of the Edwardian building, which has been undergoing major refurbishment and is due to open in June this year.
