Artist Residency News!!

Welcoming Jenny Drinkwater

A key objective of the Python galleries is to provide a platform for local artists and support emerging talents. With this in mind, we have recently initiated new residency spaces within the building.

The space is given to a local artist, free of charge, for three-six months, during which time they can reflect on their practice and develop new work.

Following on from Tracy Fenton’s residency, we are happy to welcome our new artist Jenny Drinkwater.

Jenny plans to create a walk-in, manufactured landscape based on my experiences of the urban and natural colliding together. “I will work in the space in an exciting, unorthodox manner so the environment I create is big and expressive, both abstract and representational at the same time.”
