Artists Talk
We would like to invite you to a Free Artists Talk Event at pythongallery on Monday 28th October from 11am til 1pm.
The talk will be given by the two currently exhibiting Artists, Frank Briffa and Brian Ord, whose Hindsight exhibition is presently on display.
The event promises to be a fascinating and informative insight into both artists working methodologies, techniques and processes; It will provide a great opportunity to discuss in depth, with the artists themselves the work on display.
The exhibition is an overview of the work produced by these artists and features work that has been created over the last 25 years which traces the development and changes that their art has undergone during that time span.
It is an astonishing selection of work that deftly illustrates the development of both artists creative concerns and technical methodologies over a period of time which has allowed each of their creative practices to shift and alter as each artist pushes the boundaries of their personal engagement with subject and context… The exhibition is a compelling mix of Painting, Mixed Media and Wall based Sculpture which compellingly sits together, regardless of the time scale in which it was produced, to showcase the abilities of two very individual and exciting creative practitioners who are always striving to move their work forwards.
