Fool’s Gold Gig

Fool’s Gold are an acoustic duo playing original songs which sound a lot like traditional folk music.

Steve and Carol Robson make up Fool’s Gold and between them play a lot of instruments! 

The songs are nearly all narrative – that is they have a story to tell. The words and the music try to get that story across and in a way that is enjoyable, fun and instrumentally challenging – that keeps them on their toes. That’s why there are often instrumental passages and asides running alongside sing-along choruses. They’re out to have fun and don’t see why you shouldn’t  too!
