The Gallery at St. George’s House is pleased to present an ambitious new project by local artist John Bentley.
This exciting photography project began earlier this year with aim to capture 2222 portraits of people that live, work or play, in and around Bolton.
After several months of hard work, meeting an array of wonderful individuals, John will present over 222 of these stunning portraits in an exhibition cascading through the gallery and residency space. Through his work John aims to ‘capture a moment and capture your heart’.
The exhibition will launch as part of ManifestArts17 Bolton weekend, which sees a number of arts venues open their doors across the town.
Over the festival we will be open 6 July (6-8pm), 7 July (9am-5pm) & 8 July (10am-2pm).
The gallery space will then be open to the public Mondays – Fridays 9-5pm until 4 September 2017. Please note to the residency space will only be open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays between 10-2pm, or via prior appointment.
We hope you can join us as we celebrate this new exhibition in Bolton.
