Presented by CIT in partnership with Business Bolton and The Gallery at St George’s House.

This session looks at portfolio development for craft-makers and designers, featuring designer and artists’ mentor Stella Corrall, founder and director of Snug Gallery, Ed Chadwick, alongside photographers Shaw & Shaw, who combine commercial work for clients such as VW and Barclaycard with their own art photography projects.

The speakers will explain the differing considerations necessary when putting together a portfolio – from the perspectives of a successful artist, product photographers and a buyer to give an overview of how artists can best present their work. Shaw & Shaw will also advise on low-cost ways to make your work look its best.

Delegates are invited to bring along either a print (A3 size or less) or digital portfolio on tablet or laptop to take part in an informal portfolio discussion with the speakers at the end of the event.
