Cargo Fleet Reunion
The Heritage Gallery at Cargo Fleet, housed in the newly refurbished Cargo Fleet Offices on Middlesbrough Road, will be holding a reunion for ex-Cargo Fleet workers to come along and share their stories about their time at the works and office.
On display will be a selection of photographs and memorabilia relating to the offices and the works, kindly donated or on loan from people who worked at Cargo Fleet. Viewers are invited to help identify the locations and people that feature in some of the photographs, which well help towards future interpretations of the photographs. This exhibition will run from 12th July 2012 until 6th September 2012.
People who worked for or had family working at Cargo Fleet Iron Company, British Steel Teesside and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council are invited to come along on Saturday 14th July from 12.00pm until 2.00pm. Refreshments will be served from 12.00pm
