December 2009 - North West-based property developer Python Properties has welcomed leading regional training company Standguide to its portfolio as the company launched its first Warrington office this month.

Standguide has taken a ground floor suite at Python Properties’ outstanding Bank Quay House, which recently underwent a £1million refurbishment, as part of a five-year agreement worth £80,000.

Standguide’s office at Bank Quay House is a new venture for the company, which employs 150 people across its 20 offices in the North West, and will create at least four new jobs in Warrington.

Martin Johnson at Python Properties said: “We are delighted to welcome Standguide to Bank Quay House. The property offers superb facilities and an excellent city centre location which I’m sure will help make Bank Quay House an ideal base for the company’s exciting new venture.”

Phil Slater, Facilities Manager at Standguide, added: “Python is well-known for the excellent relationships that it builds with its clients and we are looking forward to working with them over the next five years and beyond.

“We have some exciting plans for our new Warrington base, which includes creating a number of new jobs in the town – Bank Quay House offers the perfect space to help us achieve these goals. The work which Python Properties has carried out on the property was certainly a major factor for us as the building now holds an extremely professional feel.”

Standguide has joined Christian Aid, Kinetic Plc, RK Accountancy Plc, Food Glorious Food – the property’s on-site Bistro, which are all existing tenants of Bank Quay House.

Located on Sankey Street, facing Warrington’s historic Town Hall and landmark Golden Gates, Bank Quay House is superbly situated in the commercial district of Warrington. Alongside its prominent location the building also offers bespoke office space, secure parking and an on-site bistro.

As part of its recent redevelopment the 26,712 sq ft office building underwent an extensive interior and exterior refurbishment which included the installation of additional windows – offering views across Bank Park, along with the replacement of all other windows with double-glazed units and the creation of a new ‘glass-box’ entrance. An impressive contemporary reception area, with Bistro, has also been created, in addition to brand new office and common areas.

Python Properties offers smart and stylish commercial properties with a professional, first-class service from their own on-site staff at Bank Quay House.

Python were pretty instrumental helping us make that transition getting into the building. We met with Martin & Peter and spoke to them in details as to what we would expect; they were very welcoming and accommodating in that regard. They were flexible about the Lease and they made it quite clear that they were there to help and support our business
